I use halimeter in my office. 90% of the causes of halitosis are from oral structures. A thorough exam with pocket readings and tooth decay will be diagnosed and treated. We will also diagnose systemic causes and determine other etiologic factors to help patients enjoy a healthier life and a healthier, sweeter breath.

Dr. Richard Benner has been providing dental care in Palos Verdes since 1979.
Dr. Benner graduated from UCLA in 1975 from the honors program with a degree
in Neuropharmacology. He also received the distinctions of Magna Cum Laude and
Phi Beta Kappa, as well as Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. Having received his
D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) from UCLA in 1979. Dr. Benner also received
additional training in Oral Surgery and Anesthesia at the Catholic Medical Center
in New York City.
Dr. Benner enjoys providing his patients with the best quality care possible.
He uses the latest equipment, including laser technology. He works with specialists
that hold his philosophy of dental care and personal attention to individual
needs.
